After reaching the “Water” test area at Spiaggia Sabbioni, we will enter Lake garda to coast the immense limestone cliffs. This true multi-coloured kingdom of stone is the home to seagulls who make their nests on these high rock faces

After paddling past the Sperone promotory we will continue towards the ancient Ponale port, the only access point to Valle di Ledro up unti the mid C18 where River Ponale tumbles impressively into the Lake. A cave is located behind this waterfall and is accessable only via water.

After a brief break we will head back north and helped by the Ora, the wind which renderes the Alto Garda a paradise for windsufers, we will return to Riva del Garda.

Personal gear: Swimming costume – towel – cotton vest – hat – lightweight gym shoes - waterbottle
Technical gear: Canoe, paddle and lifevest will be provided by the Canoa Club Riva del Garda.
Experience: minimum experiece of canoeing on calm waters necessary.
