Lake Ledro circuit and descent to Garda via Ponale
Just a stone's throw from the Mediterranean beach at Lake Garda, Lake Ledro has a distinct alpine feel. After cycling arounsthe lake we will visit the famous lake-dwelling museum, then descend towards Lake Garda via one of the most panoramic outings in Italy, the Ponale. This old road which once connected Garda and Valle di Ledro has recently been readapted by the Province of Trento as a cycle path.
One curce after the next hides enchanting views onto the waters of the High Garda and its thousands of motley coloured sails, as well as breathtaking views onto Monte Baldo, Riva, Arco with Monte Brione and its castle. The route is mainly downhill and with minimum physical difficulty.
